LACQUERED BOX
A house of sweets in the heart of the forest, two lost children, and a threshold separating promise and danger. Hansel and Gretel recount the moment when innocence encounters deception and must learn to defend itself. In this miniature, the fairy tale becomes a test: hunger becomes temptation, fear transforms into courage, and brotherly unity becomes a strength capable of overcoming the shadow.

THE FAIRY TALE
Hansel and Gretel , the children of a poor woodcutter, are abandoned in the woods due to poverty. Hansel , with foresight, leaves behind white pebbles and manages to lead his sister home. But on the second attempt, the breadcrumbs are not enough: the birds devour them, and the children are left alone in the forest. After days of confusion, they come across a house made of bread and sugar. Driven by hunger, they taste the walls, unaware that it belongs to a witch who feeds on children. Hansel is locked in a cage to be fattened; Gretel is forced to serve her. When the witch orders Gretel to check the oven, the little girl feigns ignorance and, with sudden determination, pushes her into the flames. She frees her brother, the two find hidden treasures in the house, and finally manage to return to their father. The ordeal in the woods has changed them: they are no longer just lost children, but brother and sister capable of protecting each other and overcoming the shadow.
" Hansel and Gretel teach us that temptation can hide deception and that fragility is not destiny. But they also teach us that in the most difficult circumstances, unity, intelligence, and courage can turn fate around. From the darkest forest, the knowledge that makes us stronger can arise."
