THE FAIRY TALE
A rich merchant , caught in a storm during a journey, finds refuge in a mysterious castle . There, everything seems ready to welcome him, but no master appears. Before leaving, he picks a rose for Bella : his youngest daughter, sensitive and a lover of books. At that moment, the lord of the castle appears: a ferocious creature, the Beast . For daring to take the flower, the merchant will have to pay with his life, unless one of his daughters chooses to replace him. Belle , out of love for her father, chooses to take his place. In the castle , she discovers an unexpected reality: the Beast , despite being a prisoner of a monstrous body, displays respect, kindness, and a profound solitude. Every evening, he asks her to marry him; every evening, she refuses, still unable to overcome her fear. Time, however, changes her perspective: between conversations, discreet gestures, and shared solitude, an unexpected bond is born. When Bella is granted temporary repatriation to her family, she realizes that her absence weighs more heavily on her than she had anticipated. Returning to the castle , she finds him now drained of strength, convinced he's been abandoned. It's when Beauty confesses her love that the spell is lifted: the Beast regains human form, revealing himself as a prince condemned to live in monstrous form until someone loves him for who he is. Thus fear turns to understanding, and understanding to love.
